Management

Interesting specialities, interesting practical classes, a team of specialists in entrepreneurship and management and the possibility to continue studies in administration. This is what first-cycle studies in the field of "MANAGEMENT" look like at WSPiA University of Rzeszów. Do you want to know more? Below you will find the most important information about this field of study.

We have a lot of experience

Bachelor's degree studies in the field of "management" at WSPiA have a rich tradition. It was one of the first fields of study launched by our University over 25 years ago. After a short break, we have returned to it, once again educating specialists prepared to run their own business or work in various positions in, among others, offices, enterprises, consulting and advisory agencies.

Preparing an offer for candidates for "management", WSPiA decided to propose new interesting and attractive solutions allowing to gain a comprehensive education supported by practice. One of such proposals is a completely new didactic offer in Podkarpacie called "New Course of Studies - ADMINISTRATION// MANAGEMENT".

"ADMINISTRATION // MANAGEMENT" is a proposal for people wondering which direction will be more interesting for them. At WSPiA, if you intend to study "ADMINISTRATION" or "MANAGEMENT", i.e. universal and versatile fields, you do not have to decide on the choice of one of them at the time of submitting your application for studies. You will be admitted to the first year of study, which will be common to both majors. The subjects you will be offered in the first and second semesters are general and introductory. This will give you time to decide on a specific course of study. You will not decide whether it is "ADMINISTRATION" or "MANAGEMENT" until the end of the first year. This is also when you will make your choice of speciality. In the following years, you will already be acquiring specialist knowledge in the field of your choice.

This is not the end of the novelties for the candidates!

As the only university in Subcarpathia, we have introduced new opportunities to study specialities within all fields of study. If you choose the proposed speciality, you can study it either traditionally within the launched group (if it is created) or in an individual course. In the individual course, you will study the speciality under the guidance of your assigned tutor. You can also propose a speciality that is not on the list and complete it in the individual course provided that the University has the staff capacity to teach it. You can also multiply your competences by choosing several specialties (at no extra cost!).

For more than three years, WSPiA University of Rzeszów has been implementing an innovative educational programme called "Modern University". It consists of three projects, original on a national scale, which increase the effectiveness and attractiveness of studying. Th

(EDUKATOR) - a modern online student assistant; SBS, or "step by step"; and EDUCATIONAL MIX.

EDUKATOR is a modern teaching aid to support study and knowledge acquisition. Before each class, students receive from the lecturer, among other things, a summary of the topic discussed, teaching materials for studying and a revision book with the questions and answers required to pass the course. For those wishing to expand their knowledge on a given topic, the lecturer also includes additional study aids, case studies, extracts from court rulings, etc. in the "Educator".

Studying without a session? It is possible!
In place of traditional examinations, WSPiA has also introduced a completely new way of passing subjects - SBS, or "step by step". Thanks to this, WSPIA students do not have to take exams during the traditional session. Instead, they can systematically, throughout the semester, pass the subjects discussed at lectures.

At WSPiA, it is also possible to gain additional points - raising the grade within the so-called EDUCATION MIX. "Bonuses" can be earned for, among other things: activities in academic circles, participation in seminars, conferences and debates, research projects, simulated court trials or for work in Clinics.

WSPiA is also moving away from traditional didactic forms - limiting the number of lectures and introducing more practical classes. The subjects are implemented in a dual form, triads and quadriads consisting of: workshops, exercises, conversation classes and practical workshops. During such classes, students participate in interactive business games allowing them to manage a virtual company, decision-making games, logic and business games, solve case studies and case studies. These classes are taught by prominent practitioners (e.g.: employees of offices, businessmen, presidents and directors of large companies from various industries).

At our University, we also offer you a new and interesting form of classes called "Management Clinic". During such classes, you are the lecturer, presenting solutions to case studies to other students. In this way, you teach other students through discussion and presentations. Everything is supervised by an experienced practitioner. Your activity in such classes is rewarded with additional points in the Educational MIX.

We also enable you to gain additional specialist qualifications. These qualifications will, among other things, complement the universal and all-round education you gain by studying a specific course of study. We have abbreviated the system as BED (Supplementary Education Voucher). Under the BED, you can choose additional free classes according to your interests.

New students will be able to participate in certified, specialised and, very importantly, free training courses in such areas as public procurement, internal audit and human resources and payroll. In addition, WSPiA is planning to launch two academies training tax advisors and accountants.

Graduates of 'management' at WSPiA are comprehensively educated. On the one hand, they have qualifications that are general and flexible enough (legal, economic, business, sociological, psychological, etc.), on the other hand, they are professional and reliable enough to be able to meet the various expectations of employers in very many areas of administration and economy. They are able to learn many new things, broaden their qualifications and acquire new skills.
